Children's Healing Art Project

CHAP invites families we have worked with in the hospitals to come to our Art Factory and celebrate a patient's LAST chemo treatment.

CHAP hosts a party that brings together family, friends, doctors and nurses through the healing power of art. We paint t-shirts with "I AM DONE", as we celebrate the completion of a patients cancer treatment. Every party ends with the kids stepping in trays of paint with bare feet and screaming as loud as possible while they jump till they cannot jump anymore, first the patient, then their friends and we always end with the parents holding hands as they jump together and scream until they can not scream anymore. Our little buddy Graham jumped over 27 times...we were tired at the end but he was still ready to jump more as his parents loaded this paint covered miracle son into the family car.
